Tuam got off to a bright start beating New Inn convincingly in the semi Final. Mountbellew awaited in the final having narrowly defeated  Athenry Gaelscoil in the other semi Final. The first half was closely contested reflecting the result the last time these sides met which ended in a draw . In the second half McHale college powered to victory thanks to strong performances from Dillon Reynolds, Kevin Daly, Sean Cunningham and Darren Kelly.
