Jodie Byrne, Diarmuid Heneghan and David Wall were shortlisted for the ‘Sew Cool Competition 2011′. 59 Junior Cert project pieces were shortlisted out of 350 enteries! The ‘Sew Cool’ exhibition was held in St.Angela’s College Gallery, Co. Sligo where our three students received their Certificates of Participation. World Home Economics Day Wednesday the 21st of March 2012

Kate Wright, The Cobblestone Café Galway, visited our school on World Home-Economics Day (Wednesday 21^st March) to give a Healthy Eating Cookery Demonstration to all 1^st Year pupils. Some of the yummie recipes Kate shared with us were Spelt Scones, Hummus and Carrot Pate, Vegetarian Enchiladas, Tzatziki and Steamed Tofu. It was a great chance for pupils to sample some interesting healthy foods and it was enjoyed by all.
